I've locked all my forum posts and have turned off registration because I want this to be a place for learning. Not fighting. I will be posting studies, not opinions. This is an "online textbook", so to speak. And a lot of people may not agree with research and prefer to stick to their opinions, and that's okay. But it is not okay for those people to argue against others who came here to learn based on scientific facts. That's why I turned off registration.
I can make exceptions for people who would like to post research to Do No Harm Horsemanship Forum.
With a few rules:
1. No opinionated posts.
2. No fighting.
3. No bashing.
4. Kind riding. In either a flat nylon halter (correctly fitted), or a cordeo. If your horse displays signs of wanting you off, get off. It's his body, not yours. If your horse dislikes the saddle, go bareback. If your horse dislikes bareback, use a saddle. If your horse dislikes both (and you've tried bareback, Western, English, and endurance saddles or any other type and your horse still doesn't like it) then just don't ride at all.
5. You can post your research, but make sure to site your sources.
6. You can also post information, if you'd like, it doesn't have to be just research. Examples include: explaining the airs above ground, explaining what the Spanish walk does for the horse's shoulders and legs, talking about horse nutrition, etc.
7. You can also post horse injuries that have to do with equestrian sport or use of the horse. Natural injuries, such as those they'd get in a pasture, are not relevant. Every horse will kicked by another horse, or scrape themselves on a tree every once in a while.

What you'll have access to:
1. Making posts
2. Viewing the boards for Focus-work, teaching the horse the human language, and my notes.
